Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Elizabeth City

Needs updating. AC noisy. Tv channels slow to load, no guide. Thin walls. Creaky bed. Clean. Good location.

This particular Fairfield Inn is one of my absolute favorite hotels when traveling for work. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The staff are always friendly and helpful. Even during the pandemic, the service and breakfast to go are very good and convenient.

Update 1/6/2021nnGM contacted me and took care of us and reassured us this won't ever happen again. Im pleased with what the GM did.nnAt first we thought it was going to be a great hotel. The 2nd night someone pulled the fire alarm. From 1:30 am to 6 am the alarm was sounding because no had a key to turn it off. No management showed up and maintenance finally showed up around 5:50 am. We sat out in the hallway with our child because it was more quiet then in our room. Not only did this scare the living daylights out of our child we had to deal with the noise for several hours. Also I had requested house keeping twice via the Marriott app and twice in person to the front desk people. We where there 5 nights and house keeping finally came the day before we left. The front desk people stated that GM would contact me which they never did and I honestly figured they wouldn't. The indoor pool and hot tub were dirty more so the hot tub. I highly recommend going down the road to the Hampton Inn. This hotel isn't up to the standards of any other Marriott I've stayed at.

Booked a room THROUGH the hotel only to arrive and find out our room was falsely booked. Absolutely no excuse.

Great place to stay, my parents and my sister stayed here when they came into town.. highly recommend
