Wingate by Wyndham Fletcher at Asheville Airport

This place was a lot better than we expected. It was clean and comfortable. The full breakfast was a welcome change. They made sure people were safe by having one person (wearing a mask and gloves) dole out the food so we weren't all touching it. There is a limit on the number of people in the pool and for how long. We appreciated this because it meant we had the time pretty much to ourselves. It's long enough to get in some fun swimming without wearing yourself out. Raven at the main desk was friendly and helpful. Tracy in houseleeping was kind enough to go check for a toy my daughter lost and call me back. It wasn't in the room, but at least we know where it isn't. We never heard the planes fly over or the traffic from the highway. The area around the hotel is run down, but the propert they own is well kept and clean. We will be staying again the next time we are in the area.

Very clean, great employees, Stacy was awesome helpful and should be given a raise!nWas easy access, across from airport and there was a gas station very close to refuel rental car.nPool and hot tub were nice, very clean, not overwhelming chlorinated as said in other posts. Plenary of space and clean towels.nRoom was very clean, nice hot water for relaxing bath. Bed was comfy.nBreakfast was out earlier than posted, which was great due to my early flight.nVery pleased, would definitely stay again and recommend.

Great location.nUnderstandable limited breakfast due to Covid, but attendant could have been more prompt with service.

We were happy to find this hotel with smooth check-in and -out where we could hang our hats after a trip that was otherwise stressful and unpredictable. The only thing that keeps me from giving it a five-star rating was a maid in the hallway who was vacuuming (relatively alone until we walked up to our room) without wearing a mask. I would have appreciated seeing her in a face covering too out of respect for the public spaces guidelines. Otherwise, it was great, and we are likely to use this hotel as an Asheville home base in the future.

Clean hotel with free shuttle to the airport. Car storage available at $7 a day. Staff was helpful and friendly.
