Super 8 by Wyndham Asheville Airport

Super 8 Motel Asheville Airport Fletchern183 Underwood Road, I-26, Exit 40, Fletcher, NC 28732 USnI stayed here on April 3rd, checked in. At 8 am on the 4th, I ran to McDonald's to get me something to eat before checking out.nMy mistake, I admit, I left the key card in the room. I went to the office to have them let me in. There was a sign on the door the office would be closed until 10 am! I sat in my car until housekeeping arrived just a bit before 9 am and they let me in my room.nThey explained to me that the day shift for the office did not show up! This is my thinking on this:n1. Not my problem that there are internal issues as housekeeping told me.n2. The night shift should have stayed until someone got there. I do understand that they already put in their shift, but this was a disservice to the customers.n3. What if there was an emergency? What if someone needed medical help? What if someone tripped on the broken sidewalk? A fire? There was no one responsible for the motel there.n4. Guests got locked out of their room?nI feel that this is unacceptable and I demand my money back for not being able to get help when I needed it because some people did not care about the guests at the motel and left the lobby unattended or did not care enough to show up for work.nI left several messages on the phone and after sitting in my car waiting for 45 minutes for someone to show up I left a message that if someone didn't call me back right away to let me in, I was going to call the fire department to break the door down!nAs for the room and motel, itself, It is in need of some serious repairs. The room stunk!nI am from Oregon and I wanted to get back on the road and I could not! I will NEVER use Super 8 again as they don't care about the guests and I will NEVER recommend a Super 8 to anyone. If there was a minus 10 rating they would get a minus 100!

Clean, nice and friendly guy at check in..did i say clean? Wow pleasant surprise in Fletcher.. don't judge a book by the cover..2 thumbs up to the hotel management and the staff. Coffee served in the morning and plenty of parking for those of us who drive large vehicles. This was good. Highly recommend!!

Much better than I expected from reading the other reviews. Check in was friendly, the room was clean and well set up, bed was comfortable, shower was hot with good pressure. Price is very good with Wyndham Rewards. Giving 5 stars based on value.

Can't complain too much for a night in a a hotel under $50. The toilet felt like it would fall over when you sat down and the beds were the most comfortable. The buildings were dated but the rooms looked more modern inside. Even though we checked in after 10pm there wasn't a problem and the woman was cordial. I had called ahead and they had told me there wasn't any continental breakfast but they had breakfast bags.

The outside doesn't look as nice as the inside. The inside is fully remodeled all new. Bed is not your light bed either. Only drawback is no coffee pot. Great place to stay with super clean rooms. Refrigerator, microwave, iron, and blow-dryer.
