This Place is GREAT!!! Do Not use VRBOnDo Not go to 21 Waring Way, Waynesville, NC 28785-6240, USAnI experienced a Bad Cleaning Lady and Owner that did not know what to do when problems occur. The cleaning lady came in the cottage without notice and tried multiple times when I told her to wait and she continued to open the door. There were three dogs barking at her and she still decided to bull her way into the cottage and let my 3 dogs out of the unit. Then when I tried to put a leash on my dog the cleaning lady detained me; I placed my hand on her back and I excused myself to grab the one dog. She started yelling assault…assault and proceeded to call the police. I in turned called the police after getting away from the cottage down the street only after I could secure my dogs in the car. I asked the woman to wait several times, but she would not, I have injured by back trying to get my dogs and the lady made everything happen without any concern for my health and the safety of my dogs. This was negligence of the owner to have anyone working for them that does not put the customer first. Not to mention that some of the pictures were misleading on the web site. It was not what we expected, and my wife and I had to clean up the inside, and there was dog poop in the fenced in back yard, dirty dishes, a toilet that ran all the time, etc. We normally do not complain about the condition of a unit, instead we never go back, and I do not do reviews, but I am making an exception this time. Check out time is 11am and the cleaning lady was early, we were in the process of finishing packing the car when she arrived. I called the owner for her to tell the cleaning lady to stand down, and she said to me “I don’t know what to do”. I had a police report made after this assaulting and malice behavior from the cleaning lady. My understanding later was from the local authorities, this was a scam by the some cleaning crews to get in the unit before anyone could leave to steal stuff without anyone noticing. The people on vacation never realize anything missing until they get home.
