The rooms were fine. Nothing special, an average room with a too-hard bed. The reason for such a poor rating is because the front desk staff here is absolutely ATROCIOUS! The only elevator in the hotel doesn’t work 80% of the time. I called down to the front desk to report that the elevator was not working (AGAIN) and to request toilet paper as our room is out. Finally, after trying to get ahold of the front desk 5 different times (with endless ringing and nobody ever picking up), I asked for toilet paper and the woman said “you can come and get it then” and hung up the phone. I WAS APPALLED.nnIn addition to the terrible customer service, there was NO BREAKFAST, of any kind, whatsoever. One of the main reasons we picked this hotel was because one of the listed amenities was “continental breakfast”. When we got here after a long 24 hours of being in a car, driving, the woman who checked us in said “we don’t have any breakfast, but we might be getting it in 2 weeks or something”.nnI have never had a worse customer experience at ANY hotel I have ever stayed at.

Very clean rooms and bathrooms. Very comfortable beds with plenty of pillows. Staff was very professional and helpful. Will definitely stay at this location again!

Private and secluded but shopping and Resturants are in close proximity. Nice clean large rooms. Very peaceful. Beautiful decor fitness and laundry, pool, etc great spot for a short stay!

Hotel is pretty decent. The front desk staff/manager were horrible. We are contracted with their parent company (Choice Hotels) as travel professionals and I am warning you not to stay there! My parents were treated poorly upon entering facility; along with myself with trying to get things settled for my elderly parents. The clerk at front desk (Kimberly) was upset because she was busy and had to handle phone. Understood but she made it clear to myself and others that she did not have to deal with all of this; even though it was her job. She even hung up on me while I was waiting to speak to manager. Got upset when I called back...told me to find another hotel because she was busy. To be clear, I wish I could have but it was non-fundable and I was sending my parents there for an emergency stay. Once I spoke to manager he did not seem to care and assured me his staff member did not do what was explained. This immediately let me know this hotel is not being professionally operated. After making sure my parents were checked in, the manager (Desmond or D) was rude to my parents by trying to cancel their room, claiming they were only complaining about service because they wanted a free room. Even though room was already paid for and was only there for an emergency stay not vacation. Parents never caused a scene nor caused any issues during their stay, they just wanted to make sure things were going to be ok while there since the staff was so aggressive and rude over the phone. It honestly made them nervous. Next day comes around, my parents informed me that they may need to stay another day because their power was still out and ice was on roads. They called front desk early and was immediately told by Kimberly they were booked without even checking. Not knowing I already checked online and was ready to book room; which had several rooms available. The front desk never had on badges and were over heard talking about other customers in front of new customers. I have recommended for their staff and management to receive additional customer service training. We can tell this was not new behavior for them. Unfortunately, this can hurt someone's business by having the wrong people represent you and your brand. It is a great thing if your hotel is busy that means you still have a job. You think during a pandemic, they would appreciate that. I wouldn't recommend my enemy to stay there. The sad thing is, my parents claimed the room was nice but the staff didn't want to be bothered by customers which made them want to leave. I felt bad having my parents stay there off of my recommendation. So, thankfully I was able to immediately find them a more welcoming hotel...Hampton Inn. The staff at the Hampton Inn were very welcoming and worked with me over the phone to make sure my elderly parents settled in fine. That put me at ease. Lesson learned and reported.

Hotel was not willing to delay checkout for 1 hour for us. Booked 4 rooms as we were travelling out of town for a wedding with handicap relative as well, needed the extra hour to prepare for wedding after setting up venue. Night clerk was not helpful, referred us to supervisor/owner next morning who also refused to allow us to check out at noon instead of 11. As a choice member I have never had a small request like this refused at any other Choice Hotel or other hotel companies.
