The server was awesome and very out going. My steak was not done when they brought it out had to send it back and when they brought it out the second time it was tough to cut and well done on the pieces I did cut. My daughters cheese burger tasted nasty. They did take off my dinner . this is the second time I've been there I will not go back again. However again our server was very nice.
Our first time there, our server was very friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. Bacon wrapped water chestnuts were delicious. I got the steak special, it was a bit pricey but very good and cooked perfectly. The salad dressing on my salad was also great, and I like they make that from scratch. My husband got half rack of ribs and said they were just ok, but it was very reasonably priced. I wished their steak with crab legs was more reasonably priced, i couldn't see spending near $45 on a meal for myself. Maybe offer a half pound of crab legs with the steak to make it more reasonable in price. I thought it was an over all good experience and we drove an hour and half to try them out!
Their fish fry on Friday is wonderful, fishing was pretty amazing, the weather was too cold for us to go swimming, but I bet it would be pretty awesome as the water is very clear. My son was stoked, because fishing from the pier you could see all of the way down in the water. There is a waterside bar for the adults as well.
Such wonderful staff. Excellent drinks and fantastic food. Great for a family get away, stay in the motel and swim all day. You will not ever be disappointed.
Great food & great service. I say great service. However, the food & drink service was slow. The things that made it great, where all the little things the staff kept doing. My party had many small children. The staff where very short handed, but they took the time to interact and include the children. It was more like the staff where family too.nTechnically (as a restaurant manager in a past life) the service staff did poorly. The attention to detail, including the children in the process, and the hustle I was seeing. They made it a 5 star, all the way!
