La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Hickory

Arrive into a nicely appointed lobby, with very friendly check in. Very comfortable clean room, spacious with nice amenities.nBreakfast was served individually rather than laid out due to covid restrictions. Was tasty. Morning staff says even more remodel and exterior painting on tap. Well worth the price.

Had to stay somewhere with 2 cats for 5 days after selling house and moving to TN. All staff were great. Very personable, easy to talk to and pleasant. Majorie was there every day fixing a great hot breakfast. There wasn't a large selection, but she fixed it and brought to your table. The place does need some upgrades but it was clean. Bed was ok and bathroom was small. But looked like it was a pet lovers place. Would go back again just for the nice people.

We got there during a power outage i wanted to go there because it was convenient to our house. I was reserving a king size room when we walked in the lobby. When I got to the counter I told the attendant. He tells me that he only has a double, then the other attendant tells him no there is one king sized bed left and he even gave him the room number. I didn't argue be cause for 2 days we were without power and I needed a shower. When my husband and I got to the room I was so disappointed. I had been here for a party and the rooms we stayed in had been remodeled and were beautiful. This room was forgotten. And yes I forgot to mention that they had put us in an adjoining room. Even though the doors were locked I could hear everything going on beside us. I should have known what I was in for when I saw the do not disturb sign on the room next to us. I called the front desk and i was asking about the king size room, the desk operator ( the one who said there was one left) now says there are none. My husband wouldn't let me say anything to them when we were going to get food 5 minutes later as they were checking a family into the last king size room!!!!!ud83eudd2cud83eudd2cud83eudd2c. Needless to say we will not be back

Hotel room was dirty and smelled like smoke! How does this place have any stars? We left and went to the Hilton in town, they promised a a refund and still have not given us our money back.

Myself and my family stayed here for a week long vacation we just needed to get out of the house for a bit the pool was great! ud83dudc4d Family loved the breakfast staff was amazing and at such a great price rate
