Overpriced for what you get.nThe shower kept switching to lobster boil even after I had adjusted it several times back to luke warm, the tub was nasty, no shampoo provided.. there was a coffee pot with two packets of old coffee but the coffee pot hadn't been cleaned in God knows when, the lamp by the bed was dustier than a chinchilla in a dust bath and the placed reeked of stale cigarettes. But the bed was comfortable and there was cable. Oh, and plenty of stray cats to entertain you.

Great people. From the owners the housekeeping, have no complaints.

The owners of the Hostess House are such wonderful people!! I have stayed at the motel on some regular basis through out a few years. The owners and the staff are more than willing to make you feel comfortable and right at home. The rooms are very nice and clean and set up with everything you would need!! Location is perfect!! The place has been under construction and still some what is with the owners making a great difference with the appearence if the motel,,, place is looking GREAT!!! Also the security of the motel makes the stay more comfortable.

The rooms that I have seen are as well maintained as a hotel room can be with a regular turnover. The kitchenettes are nice with full size refrigerators. The place does have some sketchy people, but from what I've seen they tend to keep to themselves. The rooms are spacious and the manager keeps a close eye and personal interest in what's going on. The decor is a bit dated, but the monthly rates are reasonable considering all amenities are included.

Get away for the weekend....bad choice on my end. Convenient location to gas station and minutes away from Fat Fellas Bbq (good place to eat) should’ve known it was the setup for the hokie dokie with a regular house key, when entering, you’re greeted with a 32” Walmart tv almost in your walk path and worn out dirty (with stains) sofa and single chair. My girlfriend set in the rolling chair and I positioned myself in one semi clean spot on the sofa. Bed was decent and alright bathroom with excellent COLD water to shower with. Needless to say we checked out early went home and shower and spent the 4th to the house grilling out.
