The Altamont Condos

This is very nice place! As the building is old and very noisy, it's a nice and very cozy space. It's clean, has extra covers for warmth. The walk in shower wasn't as clean as I'd like. Parking is horrible for one's that aren't from the area. Over all I would definitely plan another stay. Well worth the money.

This is a great place to base your Asheville experience. The condo is in great shape, has an awesome balcony view, and it's right in between many good restaurants and shops. My wife and I will definitely look to stay here again on our next trip to North Carolina.

Our stay here was amazing! Great views and centrally located downtown, we could walk almost anywhere!

You did't respond for days and you threatened to not give me credit towards the 2nd rental; which is exactly what you did. Unethical and self righteous are bad combinations.nnPrior to Altamont ResponsenRented through VRBO for April 24. Management company didn't respond to multiple emails regarding needing to cancel due to the COVID19 restrictions. Finally responded and told me I could only get 50% back even though a month's notice or get 100% towards future rental of same rate but didn't provide dates with the same rate. A week and numerous unanswered emails later, I rented an Oct weekend. Emailed and told them to apply the credit to the 2nd rental or refund and cancel the April rental. No response for a week. The response at that time was they didn't have time to deal with me. No matter what they were doing they committed to servicing customers. 2 weeks later I engaged VRBO. The management company is still unresponsive and holding the refund to which I am entitled.nnAvoid this rental company.

We've been staying at this condo for years and love the fantastic location. All the amenities you need and more.
