So blessed to have such a place, when ur from out of town and being a woman, we tend to be scared of unknown territory!nnThe people who work with u are helpful an as thoughtful to ur needs. they have to follow strick guidelines.nPlease try to b as understanding to them as they are to us.nWe can be scared of what's happening to our loved one in the hospital. An forget our manners.nThis is clean house and a safe area. While I did drive up to meet a family of bears in the front, there was no real danger, let them alone and they will go off happy..nnI'm thankful they exist. I've stayed now 2 times over last 4 years.
Was very pleased with the hospitality I received. Bob was wonderful and truly made me feel as if they cared!
This place is amazing, and im so Thankful for it. My husband became ill in Ashville, NC. I had to travel 6 1/2 hours to get to him. When I got to hospital to see him I was informed by hospital staff that I wouldn't be able to stay there. I was distraught, I had a little money but not enough to get a hotel. The nurses called the Rathbun House for me. Luckily they had space available or I wouldve been sleeping in my car. Got to the Rathbun House and the staff was AMAZING. So welcoming, so nurturing, so caring. My husband almost died and their kindness meant so much to me. I pray that God puts me in a position to bless them the way that they have blessed me. I am so Thankful.
A great facility. Wonderful staff and a beautiful, peaceful setting.
