Residence Inn by Marriott Asheville Biltmore

I stay regularly at Marriott Hotels, so I have something to compare them to. The breakfast is good and services is generally good, not great. The hotel needs an update, especially the mattresses as it is beginning to show its age. We stayed in a two bedroom suite. Would love to see a more comfortable couch and two sitting chairs, not just one.

The location was in a good part of town. It seemed safe. The lobby was nice. The rooms are in desperate need of an overhaul. The one we stayed in stunk of smoke and was extremely dirty. When we complained to the front desk, they stated that smoke must have wafted in from the outside. We found a half smoked cigarette behind the couch. There was also a bug smashed on the wall that wasn't cleaned off. Overall, I wouldn't stay here again.

Great staff in every department, very clean rooms. The breakfast was very good and the staff was great. The front desk staff and the manager was real helpful and professional. Also is in a great location. Overall everything was great.

Nice place a few too many wall plug ins. Nice to have a breakfast available. Little kitchen in our room was good and all nice and clean.

Cannot speak highly enough!! The manager Maggie was so attentive and helpful. Went above and beyond to make our stay excellent! Best of the best service!
