This was the perfect little oasis away from reality. The room was kept very well and had modern touches. The best part was being able to bring our dog with us in the water. We will be back.
Perfect location, well kept outdoors, manager has a slight attitude behind his smile. Rooms are a little outdated, which I can deal with, if it weren't for the roaches. 1 small one in my bed and 1 large one in my luggage bag. Gross!
Room was notncleaned well! Very hard to overlook with Covid going on! Very old,sewer gas smell filled the room at night.Humidity was so high in the room that the air conditioner could not keep up! Also,the high humidity in the room left clothes, blankets, pillows,towels damp.nWe chose to leave a day early.Manager called to ask why,we explained. He apologized, but still charged us full price for the night.
The place was well kept the owner was always around and very sweet will definitely be back. Definitely a place to go for a piece and quiet also.
We stayed at Silver Sands Motel for the 2019 Memorial Day Weekend, and absolutely loved it. This will be our place from now on. Don't expect luxury! But what you can surely expect is a comfortable, cozy and inexpensive place to relax and enjoy the perfect weekend getaway. Above all, the room where we stayed, as well as the overall property is very clean and will give you a sense of safety. Brian and his family are always around up-keeping the place. All our neighbors were friendly and respectful. We will definitively be back and will recommend it to even the most discriminatory traveler. Good work Brian and family!
