The staff is super friendly and the food is awesome!!! Don't be fooled though the inside does not match the outside. The outside says family friendly, upscale and professional. The inside is just the opposite. The atmosphere is terrible!! It has a club feel with very very loud music and lava lamps everywhere. Also very hideous drapes. The art work is great though. It is very dark also but it's a club so it's a club atmosphere. However, try the food it's delicious, just get it to go!!! Wish it was family friendly it would be packed everyday all day!!!

Let’s just start with... it was busiest restaurant dining day of the year. My husband and I were visiting from out of state and didn’t have (wouldn’t have thought to make) reservations as we were just looking for dinner. What We happened upon I am forever grateful for, will never forget. Although booked, the owner welcomed us and invited us to dine. The service is unmatched by anything we experienced in the city. The staff worked to make us feel as if we were the only two people in the room. The ambiance of the dimly lit room was perfect for the occasion..Finally, the food, oh my god, the food was AMAZING!!! I felt as if I had taken a trip back in time to my deceased aunt Janie’s dining table. Perfectly prepared and served. Typically, I don’t like pre-designed menus because they don’t normally capture the essence of the kitchen, but this was thoughtfully put together to created a five course palette-tantalizing masterpiece. I promised the owner I would return bearing friends and family and I mean just that!!! My advice....Get you some Almanette’s, you won’t regret it!!n~Louisiana

The food is absolutely delicious...best catfish on the coast... and the service is second to none. The atmosphere was beautiful and so was the view. We will definitely be back!

Food was Delicious and the Rooms are the Greatest! We stayed in the Lottie room and I must say, it was clean, spacious, and romantic. I highly recommend stopping by if you are with 40 miles of the location.
