Front desk staff is often clueless. Constant miscommunication. If you ask one person a question and call back in 2 minutes and ask someone else you will get a different answer. And cleaning staff doesn’t always knock. Twice now I’ve been walked in on without any knocks. Only main hotel has luggage rollers. Any other building has no luggage rollers.
Why is the central temp set to 83F+? Stop that, right now.nnStill hot as hell. Can you please stop?nnAn update: outside is 72 and sunny, very nice weather. Inside it is 86F. This simply doesn't make sense. There are no windows and I can't turn the heat off. Seems like a bit of a waste to heat the building 14 degrees above the outside temperature when it isn't even cold out.
Mold in refrigerator and on counter. Bath tub damaged. Bed is hard and uncomfortable. Linens smelled musty. Bath tub water drained very, very slowly before/during/after shower.lumpy mattress. Stains on floor around toilet. Disgusting orange stain in bath tub.
I stayed in the Shaw house for about 2 months on TDY. Room is ok, not huge but standard hotel size. Location is pretty good right down the street from the BX/commissary (walking distance) and also right by the gate to get off base. Only issues I had was only one washer worked on my floor in the laundry room, and the internet is super slow. Not a bad room definitely not the worst I have stayed in. The staff was friendly every time I needed something, or in passing. Overall not a bad experience room was pretty standard!
The suites at Keesler are large and great. Excellent service and front desk professionalism. Perfect traveler pit stop
