Auberge Clarksdale Hostel

Nicest hostel I've stayed at in the US. The hostel is incredibly cozy and beautiful and the owners have thought about everything. The rooms are upstairs far from common area, so if you're a light sleeper that's good. The common area is amazing for socialising, so it's excellent for solo travellers. Clarksdale itself is very cool small gem. Interesting for a blues lover but even for a regular person. The hostel is walking distance to many attractions. Definitely stay there if you're visiting Clarksdale and if you haven't visited Clarksdale, it's about time to go there.

This is the nicest hostel in the country. I’ve stayed at the New Orleans location during Mardi Gras and the owners are a young hands on family. Beautiful absolutely amazing.

Auberge Clarksdale is a wonderful hostel. The hostel is in a historic building and is extremely elegant and clean. The facilities are superb (great showers, lounge, bar, and kitchen/breakfast areas). The owners, Robert and Lucy, are wonderful people, very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. The location is excellent- right in the heart of Clarkdale's historic downtown and within a few blocks of Clarksdale's multiple blues clubs, museums, and restaurants. I highly recommend this hostel.

My 8 year old wanted me to give this place 10 STARS... I WOULD IF I COULD!!! Lucy and Rob could not have been more hospitable or accommodating. Our plan was to drive straight from Kentucky to Louisiana but stuff came up (traveling with 5 kids ud83eudd2a) and we needed a place to rest! I really don't know where to begin... this place is ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL and the attention to detail is evident. Clean, simple, gorgeous, rustic. Felt like home. We stayed for 1 night with my family of 4 and enjoyed the room, location and hospitality. It was a very clean and comfortable place to stay. We highly recommend staying here and our family looks forward to coming back again!
