I don't want to disadvantage myself for future bookings, but this place was great. Water pressure in the shower is spectacular, the building and beds were fresh and comfortable, there was a lot of firewood, the hosts were friendly, the privacy and natural surrounds will be difficult to top! I took a kayak out and was amazed at how close and fun paddling from lake to lake was. I'd booked a few nights with some friends and can not wait to show my family....yet I must :)

We’ve been lucky enough to stay at this cozy cottage several times & it has become one of our favorite places. Everything about it is perfect-the views, surroundings, amenities, hosts, & overall feeling of peace & tranquility. We look forward to making years of memories here with our family & friends. We just returned from a beautiful week spent at this cottage in Waupaca. The host Dave and Wendy are excellent and very accommodating. One of the best weeks in recent memory... our family enjoyed a quiet and relaxing stay, from enjoying hammocks, the creek, lakes and sunshine. The cottage had ample room for the four of us to cook, sleep, play games and relax.nWe will visit again soon!

My family had the most amazing vacation here. It’s difficult to describe in words the beauty and serenity of this place. We were surrounded by some of God’s most magnificent artwork.nnThe creek is a great place to drop in kayaks. It is also nice and shallow allowing the kids to play in the water. It was really cool being able to see the people passing through the creek on their kayaks and paddle boards. We even saw a cat on a paddle board. To wake up in the morning, sit and have coffee at the kitchen table and see deer walk down the creek was pretty cool, too.nnThe cottage feels like a home away from home. Quaint and cozy, well cared for and decorated. Even in the hot summer (80-90 degrees), the cottage and surrounding area remained surprisingly cool with the shade from tall pines.nnThe owners are wonderful people. Friendly, kind, and very accommodating; they made sure we had everything we needed.nnThis is my type of vacation! I would much prefer this over any resort or fancy vacation....HANDS DOWN!
