Courtyard by Marriott St. Louis Brentwood

I didn't actually stay here so I can't speak to the quality of the rooms, but I wanted to take a moment to write this due to the great customer service I got here. I was lost and needed directions to another hotel; Tony was nice enough to print out those and gave me a description of the local roads as well since one of them was a little odd. The experience was nice and earned them this review.

Nice clean hotel with well appointed rooms. As with some other facilities the bottled body wash is not compatible with the minerals in the water. It takes a long time to get it off.

Thought we'd go to St. Louis to get away from the militarized town of St. Robert but on arrival, the desk clerk has extra dry like he didn't wanna be there. Went to our room, hair and makeup on the beds, extra loud rooms next door and below us, lobby was left wide-open with no one to talk to about the problems we were experiencing. I literally had to go knocking on office doors looking for someone. Going back to my room, I smelled the strong smell of Weed/Marijuana in our room and hallway and nothing was done about it

It was my fault that I booked this hotel, despite reading all the negative reviews. The first night I stayed at this hotel, two cars were broken into and I overheard hotel staff saying the hotel does not have any cameras and they have signs all over the parking that hotel is not responsible. If breaking into vehicles happens this often, how about you start caring about your residents and install cameras? Or have big warnings when people book the hotel to be cautious and there are risks of their cars getting broken into. I could not sleep at nights worrying about my car, and constantly was waking up to check it. On top of that, walls are so thin, that I could hear anything they were talking about in the next room.
