SpringHill Suites by Marriott St. Louis Brentwood

These people were so nice and accommodating to me! I was having a lung transplant evaluation done at Barnes Jewish nearby, and am on oxygen, and it can make simple things so hard. The staff at the hotel took my stay with them and made that part so smooth! I felt like they really wanted to help me in any way. I would highly recommend them! Spacious, clean, very comfortable and pleasing to the eye. Beautiful place!

Doesn’t deserve a good rating, rooms are very disgusting! I am warning you to ignore the “good” reviews! My family and I stayed on the first floor. Our rooms were separated by three other rooms. In each of our rooms we found dead roaches and flies. Dead flies in the winter time?! On the carpet?! The lobby guy... Steve gets frustrated when you make complaints about things. The sad thing is I have stayed there before and the first problem was even worse. I found tons of dead ants in room 408 during my first stay. I didn’t even complain. I just asked a nice housekeeper to clean it up. She told me she would contact her supervisor about it. She must have not told them enough because the next time we came back they put us on the first floor. There was roaches everywhere. We only stayed because of the snow storm and everything was sold out. Springhill Suites?....MORE LIKE THE BUG MOTEL. Marriott should close them down or make their rooms $20/night. I’ve stayed with the Marriott for years. They have surely been disappointing with the last three hotels.

I felt like turning around as soon as I entered the lobby, because of the energy that we didn’t belong was being given off. Front desk was not friendly at all. In fact, Jo was the farthest thing from friendly or welcoming. I’m really perplexed how he got the position being as cold as he is. He was acting all suspecting and inquiring into information that was NONE OF HIS business. The room was nice, but service was trash b/c THERE IS NONE! You’re charging people the same price but no cleaning available during a 4 night stay! Had I known that, I definitely would have spent my money elsewhere. I will never stay here again nor will I recommend anyone else to. Even the TV was small and positioned oddly in the room.

The staff was super nice and helpful. When I was there, the hotel was completely full and they were short-staffed. I got woke up by doors slamming at night a lot. There seems to be a shortage of parking and you have to pay extra for parking. Rooms are very nice. WiFi is good.

The staff is great! Was always friendly and helpful! Thank you to ALL STAFF! WORKING IN A HOTEL IS VERY VERY HARD WORK! THEY SHOULD BE RECOGNIZED AND TREATED AS YOU WOULD WANT TO BE TREATED IF IT WAS YOUR JOB!
