Love this place!!! It's the only place I will stay when I visit St Charles. You are welcomed with a smile, spoiled by the lavish historical rooms that are so unique and are spotless. Rooms are in the mix of it all. Never to far from shopping and dining. Finally when it's time to leave you are made to feel very appreciated.
Perfect mix of long-ago atmosphere and modern amenities, right on a street full of shops. Genius to leave a swatch of the 187- year-old wall showing right beside the tub in the Spanish Colonial room. Air jets in the hot tub worked great (wish the water could be turned up just a bit hotter).
First time staying and was so happy we chose it! Our Spanish Colonial room was beautiful! Loved the soft lighting and charming feel! Everything felt luxurious from the bedding to the towels, and we appreciated the addition of robes and a mini bar. Loved watching the sunrise on the patio. Venetia was very accommodating and allowed for a flexible check-in which was so appreciated! We will definitely be staying here again!

I love this place! The owner, Ventia, and Miss Linda were so kind and accommodating. This was the perfect location to enjoy historic downtown. We are from Chattanooga, TN, and chose this location because my husband stayed around here as a child and remembered it being beautiful. It did not disappoint. We stayed in the Napoleon suite and fell in love with it. I highly recommend this bed and breakfast.
