Embassy Suites by Hilton St. Louis St. Charles

Our room’s great, the happy hour drink is amazing but the breakfast is so-so could be better. I understand with the covid probably it changed because we stayed in Embassy suites in other states before and the breakfast is always amazing. The only reason I’m giving 2 stars is because the Front Desk Ladies especially the older lady is SO SO SO rude. I’ve been to a lot of Embassy suites before and this by far has the WORST front desk staff ever. And sadly first impression last. I don’t think we’ll ever come back on this hotel. I don’t like being treated as nuisance when I pay such amount of money.ud83dude11

The hotel is beautiful and the rooms are nice. Beds were very comfortable. My complaint is the amount of chemicals used to sanitize. I understand the need to clean and do all we can for everyone to feel safe with COVID. However, the chemicals were so extreme I woke up with a swollen throat and horrible cough every morning. Those with asthma should know this before booking.

We had plenty of space for 5 people. 2 rooms and 2 TVs, salt water pool, free drink happy hour, great breakfast and coffee. A beautiful hotel with lots of water features and landscaping. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

I am a Hilton Honors member so I try to stay with Hilton anytime I travel. This last trip was the worst! We stayed a week at a daily rate because we were waiting for instructions to travel home. Our last night there was a party in the surrounding rooms. I called downstairs and advised them to come up. They were screaming, running down the halls and even standing outside my window drinking and talking. He let them run around like they owned the hotel! My children and I couldn’t sleep so around 3 am the front desk clerk moved us to another room. I spoke with the front desk about this upon check out and she advised she could offer me 15,000 points which was equivalent to half our stay for that night. She also advised it would be a week or so before I saw the points because she sends it to someone that has to add them to the account. Over 2 months later, no points and my daughter’s left their chromebook chargers in the last room because we left in the middle of the night. I left messages with housekeeping and no one even bothered to return my call. I also offered to pay for shipping. So much for virtual learning that week.... It’s one thing to have to move in the middle of the night but after spending over $200 a night and not being able to sleep, a half night of points was really an insult. Lesson learned. I’m also a Marriott member, luckily. If staying here get it in writing.

By far my favorite hotel. Amazing and Nicely well cleaned rooms and so much space if you have extra guest. But everytime I go to the pool there are kids who are very disrespectful. They steal pool items, body shame and so much more.
