Hilton Garden Inn Kansas City/Kansas

The only reason I chose this location was due to the advertised restaurant on their website, which is closed. No breakfast, nothing. The bed was a king with a queen size mattress cover, soon as you sat down all four corners popped off. Sheets were the most uncomfortable I have ever experienced in a hotel. I will definitely not choose this location again.

I stayed here the other night after breaking some ribs. The power to my house was out and I was freezing and in pain. This was during that terrible cold in mid February, 2021. So, I walked to the Hilton from my house with just the clothes on my back. The staff there were simply amazing! Especially Paula. The staff at the Hilton were way MORE helpful than the staff at the KU Emergency Room.nnThe rooms are meticulously done. Every thing from the bed to the paint to the towels wasnPERFECT!nIn the morning, when I was departing one of the staff actually helped me put on my coat. And I slowly walked home.nnI will always remember the kindness of the staff at the KC, Ks Hilton. Thank you Thank you Thank you. You helped take a painful situation for me and make it better.

The hotel is newly renovated that's great! However the night staff acts like they don't want to do thier job! Someone's car in the garage back driver's door was open I went in to inform the night person of this. She informed me that it isn't her concern and didn't write down the license plate number that I have her or the make or model. I did say to the woman it was parked on the side that says hotel guess only so it may one of your guess staying here. Her response was we don't handle that and that's not my concern in front of me and other guess.nI had issues in my room #226 when I checked in. I went to turn down our bed for my 2yr old son & I there was blood on one of the pillows and the fitted sheet didn't even fit the king size bed. Which the following morning I told the front desk agent about it. The head of the hotel was there and took care of my room and my sister's that had issues as well. She had hair in her towels.nI must say it wasn't a very good first experience at this Hilton hotel. The staff member that works nights need more training or just need to be replaced.

I was test driving to KC yesterday VERY early in the morning and I had to use the bathroom REALLY badly!!!! I looked all over downtown KC for a place that has a bathroom but literally every place was either closed, didn't have a toilet, or wouldn't let me in. I tried to come over to this hotel to ask the staff if I can use the bathroom but the door to get in was locked and only for hotel guests only. Not cool! This hotel needs to realize that someone could've had an accident and it was an emergency! Screw this place!

Hotel was nice. Bed was comfy. But beware!!! My truck was broken into, right in front of the hotel, in full view of the front desk. Window smashed and lots of things stolen. Not a good area of town.
