Wades Point Inn On The Bay

What a wonderful and relaxing Inn. We loved our stay. The breakfast was delicious and served on beautiful plates. We really appreciated the attention to detail. It's perfect for taking some time to enjoy the Chesapeake Bay. Unwind, relax and take in the amazing views. We stayed in room 415. The room is beautifully decorated with soothing colors. They had beach towels, playing cards, games and bug spray available to make your stay comfortable. The bed was soft and plenty of pillows. I will recommend this B&B to all of my friends and clients. We read about the history of the home and how it has been passed down through generations. The family still owns and runs this gem. They are there, checking in to see how things are going with your stay. Very lovely!

Beautiful, idyllic scenery at a quaint B &B. My husband and I were celebrating our 4th wedding anniversary. A friend suggested that we come to St Michaels.....I did my research and based on the rave reviews, we chose Wades Point Inn on the Bay. I read one review that had Covid19 concerns saying the kitchen staff was not wearing masks while preparing breakfast. I called ahead to verify the Inn's Covid safety measures. The receptionist assured me on the phone that kitchen staff always wear masks and gloves. She also stated all the other precautionary measures in place which made me feel comfortable. We arrived on 9/3/2020 for the weekend and was extremely pleased! Everyone was so nice and hospitable. The grounds are so beautiful and serene. Our room 422 at Kemp House looks exactly like the pictures(nice and clean) and our view of the bay is breathtaking. I am a germophobe so I brought Lysol and Clorox wipes to do my own cleaning, however in different circumstances, I would not need to. Breakfast was delicious ud83dude0b And I peeked in the kitchen to see everyone wearing masks and gloves as stated on the phone. We like it here so much that we kept checking to see if there were any cancellations so we could stay an additional night. Sherry at the front desk took my number and eventually called me to say we could add a night to our reservation. This is just what we needed. Relaxation, and nature's beauty. We did some bike riding since they are available to us. Lastly, the little adorable town is only a 10 minute drive away. It has the cutest small town feel with pleasant people and good seafood. We will definitely be back to Wades Pt Inn....just may be our anniversary tradition. Please don't change ☺ufe0f

Great experience and the innkeeper was fantastic. We will definitely come back and stay at a different area of the property.

Fine establishment. A quaint, historic b&b that serves it's patrons with a nice gateaway on the water. Full of serene views, cozy rooms, and a delicious breakfast (plenty for all).
