Spencer Silver Mansion

It was our first stay at a bed and breakfast and it was wonderful. Carol is a delightful host and the breakfasts were excellent. We had fresh from the oven cookies each day. The Carriage House was cozy and comfortable. Very relaxing stay. Love this place.

Had a lovely stay at this bed and breakfast! Wanted a quick, yet relaxing stay and that is exactly what we got. The owner went out of her way to make us comfortable and provided us with an array of things to do from dinner, museums, and more. The home was well maintained and we felt more than out home. Not to mention the breakfast - so delicious! We'd gladly stay there again. Just cannot say enough about it!!!

My family and I have always loved older homes and this house is beautiful. Carol is a wonderful host and her breakfasts, and her warm homemade muffins and her afternoon homemade cookies, are delicious. We stayed here for Valentine’s Day and she made us a fire in the parlor. It was so romantic. Everyone should come and stay at this little treasure within this vast world. Thanks, Carol, for your generosity and for sharing the home we know you love very much.

My wife and I love this place. Carol is like family to us, we stay here every time we are in town visiting. The food is ABSOLUTELY amazing, 5 STARS...The garden in the back is beautiful, especially in the spring/summer time. There is also a separate carriage house which is more secluded for a little more, but the main house is great too. I would recommend this place to any and everyone.

What a lovely place!! We stayed in the Carriage House. It was so cozy! The host was beyond welcoming and was sure to adhere to all COVID precautions. We were served the most delicious homemade breakfast in the morning. Please go and support this wonderful place!
