Got there the night before our hunt and Johnny welcomed us at the lodge. Learned right away how good of a guy he was and he had us laughing right off the bat. Our guide, Aaron, was outstanding, and he worked his butt off to get the birds to come in. Top notch hunting spots with birds all around us. Overall great experience and me along with 3 others that attended the trip were more than pleased. Would definitely recommend booking a trip with Megabucks. Get fired up!

I called to discuss hunting with Megabucks and everything was just as described to me over the phone. Accommodations were great and the guide Aaron Rogillio was even better. I have hunted different places and as far as a guide goes he went above and beyond any other to make sure we had an excellent hunt. As a whole I would recommend this service to anyone. We are discussing now to make this an annual trip. Great bunch of people to be around.. Get Fired Up!!!!

I goggled looking for a place to hunt ducks and Megabucks came up, I didn’t Know what tonExpect, so I called the number to talk to someone and Johnny Wink answer the phone, He right away sounded exited about the possibility of us coming to hunt with him, and more importantly to have fun, And to get fired up, Me and my friends didn’t know what to expect, Well it was probably some of the best time we ever had, relaxin, and hunting,nFirst night we meet our guide an amazing duck hunter and guide, professional, nice andnA great person to be around, We limited 2 out of 5 days and the Other days we also did real good, We are coming back next season and we are thinking of making it back every year, To our guide Aaron Rogillio thank you for the good time we had, We would like to hunt with you every season, call these guys if you want to kill some ducks, They got them!

I have hunted with Johnny since the early 1990s. I never had a bad experience in all the years I have been. Sure, there were some days the birds weren't there or didn't work well. IT'S CALLED HUNTING FOR A REASON AND NOT KILLING. Everybody that I took with me thoroughly loved it. It's not the Hilton and no one is expected to be catered to like a rock star. I can tell you that Johnny Wink is the most professional and personable guide I have had the pleasure to spend time with and hunt. Accommodations are comfortable and entertaining. It's a duck camp not the Four Seasons. True hunters will have stories and memories for a lifetime. I had days that things didn't go as planned but Johnny always came through with other options. There were goose hunting in the afternoon and sometimes we even got lucky and downed a few more ducks in the process if our limit wasn't reached in the paid hunt. We shot doves at times. I was even offered evening deer hunts. Bottom line is. If you come with a positive attitude, Johnny will go to great lengths to make your visit memorable and fun. It would bother me if someone didn't choose to go just because of a few bad reviews. Every business has those few people that just don't get it. I would hate for someone to decide not to go because there were no mints on the pillows. Johnny runs a great camp. I've been to those outfits that serve supper that looks as it should be a work of art. Where you have several guides with you to cook and pamper you. If that is your idea of a true duck guide experience then maybe Megabucks is not for you. But if you come to hunt, work your own dog, and want to learn more about ducks, then you may need to give Johnny a call. I have learned so much from Johnny and I truly admire the service and dedication he has given to his trade. Never a dull moment with Johnny. He bends over backward to ensure you have the best experience possible. He has always treated me as family and never just a client. Those of you that had the patience to read this, by all means give Johnny a call. He will have your attention the whole time. Either calling ducks and geese or telling stories that will give you goose bumps or roll in the blind laughing. You will have a great time and stories that last forever. For the record, all the years that I have been we have gotten our limits except for maybe two or three hunts. Most of the time, we were back at camp after a couple of hours with our limits. When we didn't get our limits it was mostly our fault. We all had those days that we couldn't hit sand if we fell off a camel. More times than not...huh? We all have that one day of hunting that no one can possibly believe. Ducks after ducks...geese after geese. You know that one. Mine was in Jones LA at Megabucks. After seven minutes with our limits, we had to watch thousands of ducks come in that hole only to admire what a rare event this was. We were at the right place at the right time. It's called hunting. As much as Johnny has done for me over the years, I owe him this review. He put smiles on our faces and memories in our heart. One of the nicest guys I have ever had the privilege of meeting. Give Johnny a call and maybe years later this could be you writing a review and thinking of all the great days you have spent pursuing your passion. I took that chance in the early nineties and I haven't regretted it since. Some of my greatest memories are with Johnny and my friends that went as well. One of the best decisions I made and I too was reluctant about going but I loved hunting and took a chance. Give Megabucks a chance to have those memories. You won't regret it. I have been hunting with Megabucks for over 20 years. I have watched this guide service develop from a small cabin to a very nice camp and now to a second camp. His blinds are top notch. They had big spacious blinds before most people ever thought of them. The location is prime flyway territory. I have been there when we limited out in minutes and when we hardly killed anything. That happens in hunting. There are no guarantees. However, everyone does what they can to make sure you have the best possible chance for success and they try to make sure you have a good time. It's a great place to make memories, have good hunts, and enjoy being in the blind. I will be back there soon.
