Love this place and will definitely come back.

My wife and I enjoyed a New Year celebration here (12-31-18 / 1-1-19). We had a nice diner in one of the local restaurants, strolled the lake then turned in for a very peaceful relaxing evening to welcome the New Year.nKatie (our host) was very accommodating, the apartment was very clean and comfortable. There was an excellent bread/pastry to snack on and Katie even left us a bottle of cabernet, very good wine too. :)nOur intent was to just get out of the house for a day and this place more than met our expectation.nYou can't go wrong here,nThanks again Katie!nnMike

Wonderful setting. Walking distance to great local restaurants. Beautifully decorated. Super nice owners. EXTREMELY comfortable bed. Banana bread and bottle of wine were much appreciated!

I recently purchased a gift certificate for my sister and her boyfriend to stay at About Trace. The B&B is pet-friendly (a huge plus, as my sister has a lab mix) and it is just a few blocks from restaurants, the market, and bicycle rentals.nnUnfortunately, my sister and her boyfriend had to move away from New Orleans right after receiving the gift certificate. Kathleen, the owner of About Trace B&B, was very gracious and prompt about refunding the gift certificate. Many B&B establishments and VRBO or AirBNB rentals will not refund the full dollar amount, or will have a strict cancellation policy. I cannot thank Kathleen enough for her understanding and generous refund.nnI highly recommend this pet-friendly B&B in the heart of Mandeville, LA.
