The beds were clean and comfortable, and the front desk staff was very friendly.nBUT- Roach in the room, hall light didn’t work, phone didn’t work, bathroom exhaust fan didn’t work, a lot of mold in the shower area, what looked like mold in the ac. There was so much room around the room door that you could practically see out of them.nNo, I would not stay here again.

Stayed at this hotel 3x over the past month for a family funeral in the area.. Clean rooms and comfortable beds. In the midst of renovating. My sisters room had peeling paint on the ceiling in the bathroom and what looked like damp mold. Probably due to no fan/ventilation systems in the bathrooms, which we found very odd. They moved their room when we told them about it. Our second time checking in our NON smoking room had the reeking smell of stale, set-in cigarette smoke. Change rooms immediately. Next room smelled clean and not like smoke. Our 3rd time staying, my sister, her young son and I were given a room that the window had obviously been replaced and not all the way sealed. It was in the 40's that night and we all woke up freezing. The breakfast was decent, grab and go style due to Covid. All in all an okay accommodation, probably one of the better options in the area. A bit pricey for the value.

I’m only giving it 1 star because there isn’t a 0 star option. Elevator worked on and off, lobby was hot and muggy and smelled, the air didn’t work in our room and it stunk, the WiFi wouldn’t work on any of our laptops or phones. They didn’t have any extra large towels and the ice machine on the second floor didn’t work. They beat on the door at 8am with the do not disturb sign out. The manager didn’t want to do anything to accommodate us. We tried to cancel our reservation and was told we would be charged for both nights of our stay.

Rayne Best Western gets the job done for an overnight stay, but I sure would not choose to stay here again. Rooms are worn out and shabby. It was pretty much clean, but overall just not up to the normal Best Westerns we stay at. At least it had a few things to pick from for a COVID safe breakfast.

Over priced, old. Need an upgrade, Ac unit smells old, mattress, old sheets beaded like a 450 thread, need paint and pull out the nasty mold smelling carpet and don't put it back. I sprayed 3 times day and still old. Spiders, The back door don't lock the toilets stops up. Just a mess. Good location off the highway. My allergies where at a level 30 with the smells. Not good if you have respiratory issues like myself. The refrigerator was a nice size. Outside look nice.nThe staff was very nice and helpful at thetime of need. The breakfast area was nice. Should be $69.99 and not $120 a night.
