For those looking for a review that can inform rather then complain, the hotel is an interesting place in itself. Currently the train cars are not available to stay in until sometime in 2022. They are refurbishing them. I have never been to Chattanooga and was concerned with taking my big family and staying in a safe place. This area seems to be a safe area and according to the people here, this area used to be an industrial area turned into a great life filled area with lots of food and adult beverage places within walking distance from this hotel. The positives, the beds and even the pillows were comfortable, even had decent water pressure in the shower. Gift shop, arcade, comedy club and restaurant options right on sight. Within walking distance to lots of food and night life options. Historical value also. No bugs and clean rooms. Safe area for families. The negatives, a little outdated. Pool is shut down, a little overpriced to me, no laundry on sight. Overall i recommend staying here.

Overall our stay was nice. The hotel and grounds needs TLC, it would of been nice to see the fountains working, the pool opened (they did not inform us the pool was closed) the grounds better maintained. They just need to bring it back to the glory of 1908 !! Restaurants were wonderful and we highly recommend them.

I wasn’t able to stay in the box car so I stayed in the regular hotel. We booked a month in advance. For the price, I expected the rooms to be a little more up to date. The shower took over ten minutes to get hot and the shower curtain had stains all over it. The bathroom vent had the weirdest noise. They definitely need to do some renovations. The hotel staff was super nice and I enjoyed the restaurants there.

There's not a lot to do there unless you walk. Possibly early closings due to covid.

I used to love this place, and have so many memories. Now it's just totally not the same, it's just not historic anymore, it's becoming a more modern hang out. I used to love the lounge with the grand piano playing and the beautiful rose garden and its gone, the station house is gone
