The hotel room was very clean. They should add a bathroom fan though. The beds are comfortable. Staff was friendly. Pool area was nice. They could put lounge chairs on the beach in front of the pool like the other hotels have. It would improve availibility for hotel guests. We enjoyed our stay.
This hotel is sandwiched between two of the best hotels in Clearwater beach & it loses all of the amenities. It does have a small size pool and ocean view however there is nothing else. Rooms are not so great and hospitality is okay. For the money, this is fine.. but there are lot of things they can improve to attract customers. Rooms are not so great, this is oaky but but not so good of a stay. One thing, they have few great shopping places within walking distance.
If I could rate zero I would! Disgusting rooms and horrible service. Privately owned hotel so if you have an issues don’t expect to get any real help.What they consider Gulf front rooms are rooms with a non opening window and a balcony that is not ocean front. It was the same price for one night to stay at Shepherds resort next door during spring break weekend and we got actual ocean front with a balcony that faced the water and not the hotels. I rate Shephards a 10! Don’t waist your money at Gulf View!
Excellent location for beach. Was able to bike everywhere.nRooms do need updating but were extremely clean.nEveryone on the staff was very friendly.nCheyanne was extremely friendly and bubbly, always smiling. It was a pleasure to see her each day.
Hotel was great, friendly staff, clean room, right on the beach. The hotel is located on their own private beach but is within walking distance to the public beaches and local Restaurants and shops. Jimmy’s is 2 Hotels down and has the best bloody Mary’s. I will definitely be staying here again.
