Meranova Bed & Breakfast

We had a great stay at the Meranova Bed and Breakfast. It was clean and conveniently located to the shops and restaurants. I would highly recommend staying here if you are visiting Dunedin. Make sure you plan for some time in the cute sitting areas in the garden. We were there on business but will be coming back for pleasure!

Is the Meranova more expensive than some of the local VRBO or AirBNB? Yes, definitely.nBut, you get what you pay for.nThis is a GORGEOUS, quiet, well appointed, thoughtfully furnished property in a perfect walkable downtown Dunedin location.nBreakfast was not included in the price, but there are plenty of wonderful local cafes within walking distance to enjoy.nFor me, I was paying for the convenience of being close to family, and feeling safe as a single traveler on this trip.nnI regularly visit family in Dunedin and have tried a half dozen different properties that look like dumps (with the exception of Tree Tops, of course) compared to this one.nnWhat I LOVED: the abundance of electrical outlets. The cable TV. The desk for working. The iron and ironing board. The lovely, modern furnishings. The coffee maker. The nice porch. The ceiling fan ( I LOVE ceiling fans). Feeling safe as a solo traveler. Near people enough to be safe, but not surrounded by party. The refrigerator. The well appointed bedding. The attentiveness to guest requests for extra bedding. The welcome message when I arrived.nnPossible improvements: was missing a hair dryer. Shower drained so slow I was standing in pool of water.nnNeither of these small inconveniences changed the fact that I would definitely, definitely pay the premium for the privilege of staying at this wonderful property. And you should to, in my opinion.

Such a wonderful stay! Felt like home right when we walked in. The location is beyond amazing, I really couldn’t believe the price for the quality of the room that we got plus the fact that everything was in walking distance!! They also made checking in so convenient. I will certainly be coming back!!

This little place was a girls night, we live in Tampa but wanted a change of scenery. It left like a true mini vacation. Everything was VERY clean, (they even had a ozone freshening fan in our suite!)nBrandy and chocolates were in the room for when we arrived as well. Air conditioning was very good, and very cold. 2 tv’s, 2 very comfortable king beds, kitchen and living room. This will be added to my hot spot to stay and get the word about for sure. We also loved how we could walk everywhere! All outside, and the weather was beautiful so we had dinner outside at Crown and Bull. Just a delightful weekend, I will be back.

We stayed in the Zen room. Absolutely fantastic. Like your own apartment. Loved the front porch on the street. The little town of Dunedin is such a great attraction and has so much going on for it, if you're looking to get away from the busyness of Clearwater Beach, this is your answer.
