Westgate Blue Tree Resort

I wish I could remember the man's name at the front desk, I can guarantee he remembers mine. He is the face of the business, couldn't ask for anyone more professional or polite.nnThe hotel was decent couldn't beat the price for what you get and anytime I called the front desk they were super helpful.nnCaution though, this resort is NOT a Westgate. They purchased the property from them and never changed the name, so if your expecting to bounce from Westgate to Westgate properties this place is not one.

The staff were super friendly and our room was larger than I thought it would be. We had plenty of room for the 4 of us which was great. The kids loved the activities and the pools, and we lived that it was a great deal and very close to where we wanted to be. Our only complaint is that my husband and I thought the bed was uncomfortable but honestly, it was only for a few nights so it wasn’t that bad. Overall we loved our stay and will definitely be returning in the future. Our 8 yr old daughter even wrote a note to the staff and left in the room about how much she loved it there!

Two bedroom apartment exceeds expectations for the cost. Resort has plenty of activities for the kids to do, beyond what they state there is a weekly schedule of crafts and free activities. The arcade is currently closed, but some around town are open.

Beautiful resort with all of the amenities available and everything in pristine condition! Members of my family went to enjoy a Christmas vacation where the memories will last a lifetime. On Christmas day there was a minor problem with their unit, and I called knowing that most of the senior supervisors were home for the holiday. I was immediately connected to Myrna Pacheco who was Acting Supervisor for the day. Mrs. Pacheco was professional, concerned, and immediately reassured me that she would check into the problem and call me back. What a wonderful valuable employee Mrs. Pacheco is, and it is easy to see why she is a manager at Blue Tree Resort. On Christmas Day she addressed the problem immediately with the assistance of excellent maintenance employee Mr. Cardona. Realizing the problem and the fact that it was Christmas Day, my family was moved to an upgraded unit at no additional charge while the problem was fixed. My family did not have to wait, they did not have to be disturbed by repairs, and their Christmas celebration continued with renewed joy and gratefulness to Myrna Pacheco for taking care of them in a VIP manner. Mrs. Pacheco made sure to call me back to inform me that my family was taken care of and the problem solved. What a wonderful happy ending! I highly recommend this resort for having everything necessary to give you the vacation of your dreams including professional staff to handle an emergency, even on Christmas Day. God Bless Myrna Pacheco for the exceptional manager that she is. It is my wish that this review be copied and placed in her personnel file. If I were the CEO at Blue Tree Resort, I would make sure that Mrs. Pacheco received an appropriate commendation and recognition for her work. We are forever grateful to her kindness, intelligence, and compassion in resolving this to the satisfaction of my entire family.

Customer service was very POOR!! Raphael & Gabriel are very UNPROFESSIONAL.. Raphael decided he would argue w/me in front of a lobby full of guest, while I was SPEAKING TO GABRIEL ABOUT AN ISSUE! They then acted as if they did not want me to check in at all & said I could cancel my reservations, mind you it’s valentines weekend & it would have been nearly impossible to find somewhere else to stay. Raphael used profanity while speaking to me because I said I would like to make a report to CORPORATE! (He did not provide me w/info to corporate). I’ll be heading to front desk in a minute to see if anything will be done about my issue! I only gave one start because I had to give ONE IN ORDER TO MOVE ON. I would NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL TO ANYONE!
