My parents bought a timeshare here in 1982 and I've been coming every year ever since! I absolutely love it! There's so much to do here- it's like it's own little city. ❤
First let me state that I have been an owner here for 27 years. The owner refresh is a sales presentation where it's a hard sell on the flex program. The property is on it's second acquisition which is now Marriott. I haven't noticed that everything is on track for a complete reopening. The store on sight doesn't have any alcohol for sale yet and the rest of the venues are understaffed. My unit was clean but hasn't been taken good care of. The furniture is uncomfortable and hurts to sit on. So back to the owner refresh, the person conducting this was very chatty and somewhat informative. But after it became clear that I no longer wanted to sink additional money into my ownership, she became visibly angry and escorted us to the exit as she tore up all the paperwork in my face while glaring at me from behind her mask. I am owed 25,000 Marriott points for sitting through this salespitch and she told me that she couldn't help me with that. This place is getting complacent in their treatment of guests.
I love this resort. I have stayed there 6 years in a row. Since they changed owners there has only been a slight dip in service. But, the best bed I've ever slept in and the pools are gorgeous. I'm still going back next year.
This resort is enormous. So many pools, plenty of things for the kids to do (most have fees). Our room was a two-bedroom but it felt so spacious, with a full kitchen and large patio.
I really enjoyed my stay, check in could have been faster but everyone was nice.
