Hilton Orlando Buena Vista Palace - Disney Springs Area

The room was comfortable and clean. We ate breakfast at the little deli downstairs most mornings and the service was great! The Shades Bar had great daiquiris and nachos. Also it was super easy to catch the shuttle to the parks. Overall it was a very fun and relaxing atmosphere. I would definitely stay here again :)

So I decided to edit my original review seeing the owner is trying to be slick in deflecting the review and attempting to say I am reviewing another hotel. Make no mistake, my review is based on the biggest nightmare of all hotels and as a Hilton Honors member as well. It was my stay at the Hilton Orlando Buena Vista Palace. We made reservations for 12/09/2020 and they forgot to mention most of the amenities were not up and running. No pools, no shuttle service, no restaurants. None of the down services were notified on their website either. My wife and I came back from breakfast and the cleaning crew had thrown out her makeup, perfumes and toiletries. Manager on duty was going to comp the night as a courtesy and mail a voucher for another free night's stay to make up for this disaster. Well, not only did they bill my credit card but they billed it TWICE for the same night! The voucher has never been received. Wouldn't stay here again after the waste of my time caused by this place and dealing with my credit card now more than 3 months disputing the fraudulent/unauthorized charges. BEWARE! There are many other places to stay in the Disney Springs area other than the Hilton Orlando Lake Buena Vista Palace!!!!!!!!! Many others! Can't give less than a 1 star rating or I would. Be aware!

The entrance of the hotel itself is very nice and clean. The hotel is an easy 8-minute walking distance to Disney Springs. Our room itself however was very small. We had 2 adjoining doors in the room that did not filter out the sound of our neighbors at all. About 3 nights in we requested a new room due to the level of noise each night. The hotel staff was wonderfully accommodating and understanding. I think I would seek out other options before staying here again just because I know how loud our first room was, but if I did stay here again I’d pay a little more for the nicer room.

We regret not staying at the Hilton properties at Bonnet Creek... I had high hopes trying this property, and we selected it due to proximity to Disney Springs for our anniversary trip. Unfortunately, I'm not impressed. As a loyal Hilton guest (Diamond) I have certain expectations. They were not met.nThe good: proximity to Disney Springs, gorgeous resort like pool, the staff at Sunnies and Shades were AMAZING. Kassandra, Bill, John, Johnny, I'm forgetting a few names - you all were the redeeming features of our trip and we truly appreciate your kindness and enjoyed getting to know you.nThe bad: All other staff were surly and unhelpful, at best. Updated at 11am Saturday March 6: just witnessed another family be treated very poorly. For us, an inquiry regarding a cabana rental was handled very poorly and without tact- I emailed 3x and inquired upon arrival and the response basically blamed us, even though we had replied multiple times. That really set the tone for the rest of our stay. The rooms are esthetically updated; but quite worn down. Despite being at probably 50% or less capacity, we were not offered an upgrade, which was more than likely available and as Diamond guests visiting for our anniversary we would hope it would be offered. That probably would have mattered less had we been more impressed with the rest of our stay. Currently laying in our bed - which is supposed to be king size; but seems to be queen size, discussing checking out early and moving to a non Hilton property.nI am sure this hotel is just what many families need on their Disney vacation. For us, it was a nope and we won't be back.

I left a lengthy review in the survey Hilton emailed me. To recap, I booked two rooms, one through Costco one through Hilton Honors app. The room assigned through the Costco booking had mold in bathroom, carpet looked dirty and stained, paint was cracked and peeling. The bathtub would not drain so we were standing in 4 inches of water while showering. It definitely did not feel like a Hilton standard. The other room booked through The HH app was clean and beautiful. The resort itself is beautiful, the pool area is amazing.nI had many great choices through Costco but I chose Hilton because I thought I would earn points but sadly was informed at check in I would not earn those points. I book travel through Costco when ever possible and that will factor in to my future booking choices.
