The location of the hotel is good. It has some nice restaurants around and a superstore a few minutes away.nnThe rooms are cozy, not so big but not that small. The beds are reeeally soft if you like your beds like that.nnBUT the first day I stayed I kill 3 cockroaches in less than 24 hours, they obviously changed me rooms. The next day in the new room the little fella on the picture just crawled between my legs when I was in my bathroom.nnSo If you don't like little insects running around your room you may need another option where to stay.
I’ve been in my room a few hours so my stay has really only just begun.nThe hotel is old and has been updated - new carpet, paint, window dressings, and pictures on the walls. The furniture in the room is a bit worn but I don’t know how a hotel is supposed to prevent that when people don’t respect these things and they become damaged by rough use.nI’ve not seen any roaches yet, though the window in the room does not lock but being on the fourth floor, I’m not concerned. I will say that the a/c unit is a bit noisy (not complaining) but it is too loud to hear the tv as the volume seems to be controlled - will check w the front desk about this as it seems a bit unusual.nNo complaints about noise thus far. Will update upon checking out.
I'm only giving this place 3 stars due to the lack of maintenance in this place. The first thing you notice when you walk into the lobby is the huge patch of paint missing from the ceiling. When we got to the room, we checked the window and the window wouldn't lock. We had to call for maintenance. The shower drain was clogged and backed up, the shower head shot every which direction. The sink appears to have had a leak at one point and rotted the vanity and it has the rot for every one to look at along with the mildew and mold from it. there is no breakfast, which they claim due to COVID. The Sheets had stains on them when we checked in here. The TV is a little on the small side. When we checked in, the key didn't work, so we had to go have them reprogram the keys. It was a disappointment for a La Quinta inn
We had roaches in our room. How discussed that was. Not only that the roach was crawling on my jacket and the bed. Bad stay! Never again
Not at all what they had displayed, and the pictures are outdated. I asked them if they were working under maintenance for the place and I just kept seeing things I didn't like. It could be better but, I would not recommend booking here, even with the lowest prices.
