Had some extra time so I stopped in. I asked Kim (the owner) to introduce me to the sport of biking. He gave me a bit of a crash course of the sort of gear and things that modern biking is about. Had a very informative experience, and got to try out what an electric assist bike feels like. Very good and personal experience.
If you want a genuine family business Fox River Sports is the place to go! The owners are wonderful people who are extremely knowledgeable and truly invest themselves in your happiness, satisfaction, their local community, and those with special needs. One of the owners, Kim, is simply the nicest guy I have had the pleasure of meeting. He is extremely knowledgeable and truly goes above and beyond!

I took my bicycle into Fox River Sports for a few repairs, and not only did the owner walk me through the problems my bike had, but he also went over all of my possible options and advised me on which he thought was best, even if it wasn’t the most expensive choice. They put new tires on my bike the same day, and helped me troubleshoot minor issues the moment I brought it in. Overall, Fox River Sports delivers quality maintenance, outstanding customer service, and friendly staff who possess a true love and knowledge for bicycling.
