Tom was hired back in November for a deck. He has taken 75% of the money, and has never returned. My relatives thought they did their due diligence asking about previous poor reviews, and he explained them off as whiny customers who maybe didn’t realize materials would be left on-site. Now looking back at it, they were unfortunately taken advantage of.nnI work on real estate investments on the side, and this is the first AWFUL contractor I’ve had to deal with. PLEASE learn from my relatives pain, and DO NOT give him a chance. You will never get your job completed. He won’t answer any phone calls, emails, or texts.nnHe will scam you, and unfortunately you will be left high and dry, and will have to bring him to small claims court, as have many other reviews that I have verified on my own.
Avoid like the PLAGUE. Hired Tom to put a fence around the property and signed a contract saying it'd be done on such and such date. It was not done on that date or even a week after that date. Additonally he will take your money and never return... After the project was done we went around and took pictures of things we'd like fixed including gaps in the fence and how they left concrete protruding from the yard. He never addressed any of it nor did he return to fix anything. He doesn't answer his calls, and on top of everything nearly 3 years after the project and the fence is already falling apart. Awful awful service.
