We have stayed at a ton of Super 8 hotels and 90% of the time very nice. This one in Hartford was not up to usual standards. Seem rundown and bathrooms were small and you crossed your fingers when flushing the toilet. They need to step their game up. Find another place
Extremely dated and in disrepair. Secure lock back door doesnt lock, carpet pulling up, patches in walls never painted, end tables have veneer coming off, upholstery stained and extremely dates. Literally the worse kept hotel I have ever stayed in and when 8 asked for a refund so I could stay elsewhere I was told that wasnt option.
Very clean. Nice pool and hot tub. And the guy at front desk is super friendly . he trys to make your stay the best he can
Room carpet was filthy. The whole place, lobby, halls and room reeked of cigarette smoke. The tv would not get a signal all day Thursday. Thursday nite the heater kept shutting off. Hallway carpet was filthy also
I had the misfortune of staying at this hotel. I will let you know that we didn’t make it thru the night. Our room looked like a mma arena. Blood on the wall, hole punched thru bathroom door. I won’t blame the hotel for a homeless man walking thru the hallway but I will say they could lock the side doors. Also there was rotting fruit in the parking lot. This place is a total nightmare and I would like to remind anyone passing thru this town to just keep going if the other hotels are booked.
