Nice and clean hotel we stayed there only 1 night awaiting the tour of the crater. We enjoyed the room and grounds and fanny’s cafe for breakfast. We had a really nice tomato Eggs Benedict and the waffles and French toast was also on point!

What a roller-coaster! We booked a room for 3 nights in the Garden View Cottage. DO NOT book a room there!! It was so run down, toilet had brown stains and shower was black. A motel 6 room would of been an upgrade compared to this room. We tried our best to stick it out, but after one night, we were ready to go home. The following morning I went to guest services to request refund and check out early because I couldn't handle another day in that room. JJ who was the young lady working up front immediately offerred us an upgrade and apologized for the condition of our current room. I kindly declined afriad we might get stuck with another room identical to the room we were in. However, JJ offerred to walk us to the upgraded room so that we can look around prior to agreeing to the upgrade. She took us to 3 different rooms and gave us the option to pick. Let me tell you, the upgraded room made a huge differenc!! Bathroom was clean, almost new and the space felt so much warmer. We agreed to stay the rest of the time and are happy we did. I am so grateful for JJ's assistance! She made our stay a memorable one and I can confidently say we will be open to returning in the near future.

The room was nice and clean.. The staff was nice and helpful!! The crater soak was amazing!! Worth checking out and getting away for the weekend..

This place was so adorable!! I loved it. The owners were so sweet. The whole atmosphere was a German style. The owners lived in Germany for a while so really did a great job with the decor and atmosphere. The breakfast was so delicious!! It was German pancakes, fresh fruit, and sausage. The whole experience, atmosphere, and service where just perfect.
