This hotel is very popular. But we weren't impressed. The room was nice, until we were invaded by box elder bugs. They found a way through the window and there were dozens of them in the room, on the bed, crawling on the ceiling and walls. We talked to management and they were nice, but told us they couldn't do much. And that all the rooms facing the mountains had the same problem. Eventually we just asked for a new room. Management treated us like we were more of a burden than understanding I didnt want to sleep with the bugs.
Resort was very nice, the BBQ restaurant was excellent! The only reason I give 4 stars, was because there were a lot of kids running around, and I kinda wanted to get away from that.
A great getaway. It's lost a bit of its charm under the new management, but overall we had a great trip and would likely return in the future.
Beautiful scenery and mountain setting for this gorgeous place! Lots to do and see close by and a great place to stay to add to the adventure!
Always take a Fall getaway here, great for the peace, quiet and scenery.
