I stayed here with a large family group. This is a 1950s styled house with some authentic decor, but some the decorations are over the top and it feels like you're in a wacky thrift store half the time. Overall, it was a good experience, a sturdy place, and within walking distance from downtown. I have two complaints, however. The cabinets are all completely filled with dishes, so the only place for food is in the fridge or on top of the bar in the family room. The second complaint is underneath some of the furniture, there is a thick layer of dust that shows these areas haven't been cleaned in months, maybe longer. (See pics) There are also some really minor maintenance things I won't bother to mention here. Overall, though, I would recommend if you don't want to be driving in downtown. :)
This was such a fun house to rent near lake Geneva.. It gave my huge family somewhere to relax and create memories
