Don't get me wrong people please , the place itself was a beautiful nice romantic place but too bad you can't set on the balcony in the night time to enjoy the gorgeous view of the lake if you can tolerate millions of mosquitoes and all kind of flies sharing it with you. That means you will will have a great time on the balcony .nnNow why I gave the two stars , I filled the hot tub with hot water to enjoy and relax before I jump in the tub I looked at the top and I've seen a sparkling thingies on the water so I drain the water and filled it back on and it's the same thing, I don't know it's the chemicals that they use to clean the tub with or what I don't have any idea but I cleaned and me and my wife, and when I jumped in the shower and when I grab the towel what I found out was a used towel and I grab the other one and there's some yellow stains in it it was 4 in the morning that's why I didn't call the front desk to report that .nnOther than that nice staff

I have written two bad reviews my whole life. Usually I address a bad or uncomfortable situation by having a conversation with a manager.nMy husband and I were so excited to stay at this beautiful hotel, they had a private deck off our room with a fantastic view!!nWe checked in and we so excited to be here, it was cloudy and a little cooler like 78 degrees.nWe went to our room and the view was great, we decided to go downstairs to make reservation for dinner on the patio. Due to covid 19 we could only eat outside because of medical reasons.nWe went to the restaurant and asked to make a reservation for the patio, I was told no reservation could be made and that it might rain so no outside eating that night. Because it might rain, what do you mean it might it wasn't raining it might???nThere were 3 to 4 people in the restaurant and not one offered food to go or room service. They just didn't care.nSo we ordered pizza in our rooms.nThey have an awesome fire pit outside on the patio and that was not available either because it might rain!nI did my due diligence I called before I made the reservation for the hotel that I could make reservations outside, and I was told yes.That is why I was so disappointed.nThe next day we got up and NO soap, shampoo, conditioner.nJust another bump in the road, I went downstairs and asked for the toiletries and commented about the fire pit and the outside eating the manager Daneen and she said they thought it might rain and the next two days looked good for outdoor eating. I told he that I think that training their employees to be more customer orientated would be helpful.nShe gave me her card and asked that I let her know how the rest of my stay was.nI tried talking to her before we checked out and the front desk said she would call me. I have never heard from her. Once again no customer service!!!!!nThe next night we wanted to sit down by the fire and enjoy the lake, no fire was on so I call the front desk and asked if they were going to start the fire pit. The person at the front desk said sorry we don't put the fire pit on because the patio closes at 8pm, it was 715pm.nThey fire pit is propane and you flip a switch!!!nI said that its only 715 and she said a manager has to turn it on., and there is no manager on duty until tomorrow. than she hung up.nWhat are you kidding me!!!nThe day we checked out a person from house keeping stopped me in front of 2 other employees and asked me if I had a problem with house keeping? I was shocked I told her why she asked me that she said she heard me ask to speak to the manager.nAre you kidding me, I told her my room was spotless all I needed was shampoo.nI have never had this experience in all my ravels, and we travel a lot.nThe view was beautiful, the room clean but the customer service was a struggle. It is a gorgeous lake and great town but I feel this hotel customer service is lacking

The Hotel was beautiful but NOT worth $630.00 for our room!!! Went for a 50th Birthday end of July and the room we had, which there are only two rooms like this on the main floor, no balcony or patio to open. When booking I told them the occasion and requested water view or at least a balcony, we had no patio to open, the window was facing parking/main entrance so drapes had to be closed the entire time which made it super dark in the room. WiFi was not working the whole time and had to go out through the main doors to use our phones. I had a reservation for dinner in their restaurant and requested a window, waited two hours and asked to be seated somewhere else. Come to find out the window sitters never left so they could watch fireworks! Wished they told me when making the dinner reservation that there would be no guaranty where you would sit due to fireworks. We had eaten at this restaurant 6 months prior and it was delicious. I ordered the same thing and it was a complete disappointment!! I sent an email to the manager after our stay and never heard a word back!!!! Lets just say for the occasion extremely disappointing!

Stayed at Langham In Chicago and than came here. Rooms were for the most part clean but beds seemed mildly dirty with human hairs and some stains on sheets.. During Covid this concerned me.nWait staff at restaurant were very good. Definitely not a 4 or 5 star inn. I put probably 2 to 3 stars based on grounds and what this place has to offer. Unfortunately, Lake Geneva is more about the views than nice places to stay.

This stay was very disappointing. First I was sold a lake view room, then to find out it wasn’t, it was a parking lot. Gym is closed for covid (nothing on the website said anything). Lastly the internet was out.nnAt over $400 / night you could do much better !
