We had the pleasure of staying in Cabin Bear. LOVED IT! What a perfect cozy place to unwind. It was surreal sitting on the covered porch as a thunderstorm rolled through at the end of the day. We were able to prepare our own meals in the fully stocked kitchen. The bed and the pillows kept us comfortably asleep throughout the night. This morning I was able to greet the day with a cup of coffee while taking in the views of autumn overlooking the river from the covered porch. There is no doubt that I'll purposely make a trip back to this gem!
The manager was really nice. It looked like an attempt was made to remodel. New flooring, drapes, painting. Nice startnHowever, dirty towels in the bathroom, it's really noisy. The room never got redone. Garbage was not removed, beds not made. No extra toilet paper or Kleenex. No cups or coffee cups. The pictures online were not totally representative of this place. Sadly we will not be back.
Nice affordable rates. Online pricing shows $110+, but best to call in to reserve, stayed for two night under $90 (lowest we were able to get). Place is decent, has a back yard area to relax and chill outside. Only a couple issues were the outlets were open exposed, bathroom door was straight which means can't shut the door all the way, and the water from showering wasn't filtered or purified. Also place has WiFi, but only enough for TVs, unable to connect to wifi with my phone.
Clean, quiet and friendly folks. We enjoyed staying in the Cabin. Lots to do nearby. Will be back!
Very very friendly staff and very accommodating . The cabin was very clean and fit our needs perfectly. Definitely will be back
