Great local place. Good fried cheese curds.
Was up here in Westby to visit family for Christmas. We didn't stay at the hotel, but we went for Breakfast at the Grill, and the food and Service was Awesome! Kudos to the Tall blonde guy the kitchen, he does a wonderful job! The waitress was a little snippy, but overall she did a great job too.nWill definitely be coming back next time I visit the family.
I am impressed every time I stop there for a quick lunch, how pleasant, courteous and helpful the waitresses are. I appreciate the fact that even their deep fried food item are not a bit greasy, food tastes good, is hot always promptly served.
The fish was delicious. The salad bar wad just okay-not great. Cole slaw was runny. Cheese spread was dried out and looked old. The rolls were dried out. The lettuce was almost out and wasn't refilled while we were there. The waitress did a very good job.
Great stop. I definitely recommend their breakfast when the regular (and very tall) Morning cook is there. He does a great job with the breakfast wraps.
