4 of us stayed at the Inn 8/10 & 8/11. Room #11 was newly renovated and very nice. Other rooms would be renovated gradually but were clean & roomy. Upstairs has a nice balcony. Downstairs has a porch. Owners very nice and helpful - we could put our bikes in the garage. Gave us information about things to do in area. Theresa called Hotel to see if it was the week for Taco Tuesday (every other Tuesday), and it was! The only down side is trains come thru at all hours of the day and night. I got used to them.
I really enjoyed the time we had here,mostly for the view and proximity to town,also the friendly folks that own the place! The place was good and clean, actually too clean as they used some kind of noxious sanitizer that we had to leave doors open for hours to get rid of.I realize the need for cleanliness,but the obnoxious odor from this type of sterilizer was not good.In the future we will request they not use massive doses of cleaner.
Great small hotel, good value and views. Definitely will be staying again! Love all the trains with the river!
This was a 2 night stop for is as we were on the bike and Thursday was a rain day. This place has set the bar super high for all our other stays. Great room, bed is super comfy, and omg the shower. I want that shower in my house. I HIGHLY recommend a stay here.
Best place I’ve stayed while in Wisconsin! Beautiful views and friendly staff! We have stayed many times before and will continue to stay! Definitely a must especially if you enjoy being outside by the river and trains!
