Booked the hotel in the morning as rain was in forecast while camping with kids. Told them there would be 4 kids in party. When arrived at hotel was informed the pool was closed. We would of chosen a different hotel had we known! Would/could not refund our money. Called there every day for over a week to talk to a manager who apparently has this ability. Have not heard back. Today the housekeeper answered phone as no other staff was working. Poor customer service, poor service, poor advertising.
The place was empty and we were required to pick up a phone (um, pandemic) to call for someone. He was bland and just recited his routine. He crossed off what room we were supposed to have and put a new room on there. Gave us directions to our room (which were wrong) and sent us off. We get to our room and not only is it not where he said it was but it is RIGHT by the elevator and overlooking the roof with 3 cable dishes and the highway. Not to mention there was someone in the very next room that we could hear throwing up and even his speaker phone. Every single time that elevator was used we were woken up by the door and the ding. There were never more than 6 vehicles in the parking lot and we got a room next to someone, next to the elevator overlooking the highway instead of one looking out over the trees and country, not by the elevator. If it wasn't such a hassle to move and covid wasn't going on we would have complained right away but I didn't want to have to pick up that phone again. Terrible first impression of this place and would not recommend. To top all that off, when I complained they only said sorry and thanks for letting us know.
It was pretty nice. My husband is a truck driver. So it felt great to sleep in a King Size bed.
Pool is closed. False advertising. Guest service is HORRIBLE! I was told I was getting refunded I just needed manager approval, but manager was never around. I had to tell the story to every youngster at the front desk every time I called. Then hotels.com said he denied the request. Biggest run around ever. Bad business practices. Don’t stay here. Will be copying review everywhere and be launching a BBB investigation next week. If I’m going to have to pay for a night I didn’t stay there, might as well do what I can to make sure others don’t have to!
I'm staying here right now, and they told me I had to pay for my pet a day after I already checked in and paid. Also I paid 991.52 for my stay that was removed from my account when priceline reservation here was worth 741, hopefully the hotel can fix this issue. I would've stayed somewhere with free pets also if I knew they were gona charge me ♡ the room is really nice and clean though and the wifi is fast and the coffee tastes like cardboard and the TV is small but nice. Fridge is too warm so you have to drag it out of the little cabinet and turn it up so its cold. Oh yeah the water from the shower and sink smells like strong rust and leaves a dark orange stain in the sink. The windows dont open so its kinda stuffed, but if you leave the bathroom light and fan on 247 it helps make the air fresher.
