Great food
Excellent Fish-fry.
Stopped by tonight to get a meal for the road. We walked in and we were greeted with an attitude from the waitress. She seamed upset that we were there interrupting something. Only a few people seated. We ordered the walleye sandwich and fries. Both were very dry and bland. I wish we would have eaten there so we could have sent it back. This is the second time in a row that we've been treated this way by the same server. We won't be stopping or recommending this place again.
This restaurant has THE BEST fishing decor especially for viewing mounted muskellunge. The World record replica is on display, it sits vertically in a glass case near the restroom area. Their breakfast was decent and the view of Lake Chippewa is stellar! We will be coming back for the Friday night fish fry.nnUpdate: Decided to come in for the Friday night all you can eat walleye fish fry. BIG MISTAKE. This place doesn't seem to do well under pressure. Our waitress was one of the worst I have ever had. It took her 15 MINUTES to even acknowledge us sitting there, when she finally did she was very flustered and unprofessional . Then it took her another 15 minutes to bring us out our drinks!. The walleye was very good but the atrocious service trumped that. Probably won't be back for a long time.
Good food and establishment hires those with special needs. Great time.
