The room wasn't huge or luxurious but who comes to Wisconsin Dells to stay indoors. The beds are stiff so don't expect to spring to action for the parks the next day. The walls seem paper thin so you constantly hear other guests come and go, 4 stars if I would've slept better. One shocking thing to see in 2020 was a tube TV in a resort room so don't expect to bring your Fire stick and stream, you're stuck with very basic cable on that little square screen, it was background noise to drown out the sounds of the other guests. Also, bring your own coffee pot or get stuck waiting for around the corner drive thru lines at Starbucks or DD.
Cheap, as expected. However, there was a piece of sausage under one of the mattresses... we did not eat pizza in our room so that's gross. No other blanket options. Just the thin blanket on the beds. I know it was cheap, but sausage.. really??
Absolutley worst hotel experience of my life. Paid ridiculous prices to be put in pretty much a run down super 8 style hotel that was 3 miles from the actual park itself. Was not notified all the indoor attractions were closed when making the reservation, was refused a refund. An spent the night in a hotel room where there were people fighting in the parking lot. People fighting in the room above us. Cops in and out all night long. Had my wife not had her concealed carry pistol on her we would have took the 300 dollar loss and turned around and gone home because we seriously felt like we were in the middle of the ghetto. Worse part is we had our 5 kids with us just terrified. An we drove 4 hours to come to this place to give my children a good Father's Day. Worst experience in a hotel in my 35 years.
Horrible place not clean and no supervision of rooms. People let their kids run at all hours of the night trying to get into our room.
The queen bed was decent, but the pillows were very poor. I had trouble sleeping at night because of this. The bunk that my friends used had a few screws poking out of the side (very slightly, but could potentially cause damage). Our room was not cleaned during during our two night stay. I am giving three stars because the deal that Mt. Olympus gave us with the waterpark passes and the spending cash for the resort was extremely good; the room was not fantastic, but I did have an enjoyable vacation for very little money.
