Two of the nicest people you will ever meet! We wanted to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Well we got it and in the process learned a lot about life on the farm. The rooms were nice and comfortable and they thought of everything you might need. From coffee to Shampoo, they have it for you. And to top it off you can purchase beef cuts to take home with you at very reasonable prices. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to go there again.

Valley Springs was our first Bed & Breakfast experience, and it was lovely. My husband and I were looking for an affordable weekend away for our 5-year anniversary and wanted to spend time at the Dells and Devils Lake. Valley Springs is about 30 minutes away from the Dells, and the drive was quite easy and relaxing.nnDon & Dorothy are very hospitable and genuine people. They’ll answer any question you have about their working farm, from family history to the types of pasture they plant to feed their cattle. It’s like a breathe of fresh air being out in their countryside oasis, and it makes you thankful for all our hardworking farmers. They gave us a farm tour through their property so you can see all the wonders of Wisconsin’s countryside. And if you love overly friendly farm cats and a fuzzy farm dog who loves attention, you’re in for a treat!nnWe stayed in the Poppy Room which had a personal bathroom attached to the room. The room was upstairs and felt very private. It was quite spacious and the bed was very comfortable! I was surprised to see a personal air purifier in our room - our room smelled very clean and fresh! The WiFi actually works great, and there’s even a smart TV with Netflix set up. We didn’t have time to use the TV, but the option was nice. Because we were celebrating our anniversary, Dorothy worked with my husband to add on some locally growth flowers and chocolates, and at a great price! There was a small common area between the three “rentable” rooms with a keurig, small fridge/freezer, microwave, and a delightful assortment of coffee or teas.nnDorothy’s delicious morning breakfasts are the definition of farm-to-fork. It’s a lifestyle for her family to grow, preserve, and cook their own food. Her breakfasts were served on adorable place settings in a secluded little sunroom attached to the kitchen. Farm fresh eggs from neighboring farms, slices of garden tomatoes, homemade coffee creamer, fresh made blackberry jam from their patch, homemade scones, the list goes on! You can tell she pays attention to detail and takes great pride in her craft. Her breakfast will make you feel right at home!nnSince it’s a working farm, we were even able to purchase a chuck roast and soup bones to take home with us, again, at some great prices! Most of the cattle is almost 100% pasture fed, so you know you’re getting quality. Pasture fed beef at grocery store prices, you can’t beat that!nnWe were very happy with our stay and hope to make it back in the future. Would highly recommend this location over any hotel in the Dells.

AMAZING! Wonderful stay on a working Beef Farm. We were very comfortable during our stay. Breakfast was all sourced locally. We even bought beef to take home. Truly farm to table!

So much to love about this place. Started with a fantastic tour of the farm with Dorothy. She is so knowledgeable about all facets of farming life so we were able to learn so much in a short amount of time. We had the opportunity to feed some baby calves and play with some kittens. Room was quiet and clean. The breakfast was delicious and we purchased some of their grass fed beef. Overall it was a great experience. Would highly recommend.
