Glacier Canyon Lodge

Very nice resort. We love the fact that there is a full kitchen so we don't have to eat out all the time. Spacious rooms and great staff. The waterparks are great and offer something fun to do, even if it's raining outside. Highly recommended

Overall was a great stay, minus the last day that knocked the stay down to 3 stars. We came Wednesday to Saturday. We were excited to come here since the website emphasized how the place was taking social distancing seriously. During the week, it felt very safe and people were able to social distance. On Friday night, the crowds multiplied by 10. The water parks were very full and only about 50 percent of people were wearing masks in common areas, despite signs writing “masks required.” A lot of the staff members were walking around wearing their masks at their chin and quickly pulling it up as we walked by. I wish the hotel would have limited capacity better and enforced the mask rule. I want to write this for anyone reading the website and expecting a safe trip on the weekend. We definitely did not feel safe. My husband and I were very uneasy Friday night and were happy to be leaving Saturday. The hotel was very clean, staff was friendly and the rooms were cozy. We ask that the hotel reconsider taking the pandemic more seriously by limiting capacity and enforcing social distancing/masks. Unfortunately posting it on your website and putting markers on the floor for where to stand means nothing if it is not enforced. Maybe considering emphasizing the requirement of masks at check in would help, as my husband said it was not even brought up when he checked in. We would love to come back, but will likely not be coming back during the pandemic.

This place is awesome. We are here in October, there's not over crowding. Staff is very friendly and helpful. There is alot to do here. Every direction you go you can find something different. Arcades, mini gold, ropes course, go carts,, bumper boats, water parks, restaurants, coffee shops, candy stores, make your own pottery, I'm sure I missed something. You don't even have to leave the building. There is plenty to do here. Very clean and accommodating.

This place never disappoints! Room was super clean, I could smell the bleach when we walked in. Check in took longer but we were given a credit so that's cool. All employees wrote masks but not all guests. Only 2 indoor water parks were open but that's more than enough for us.

We have stayed at Glacier Canyon for many years and have always been impressed. However, I was so disappointed this time. 90% of guests and 50% of staff were not wearing masks. No one was social distancing. There were multiple police in the building to address an issue with a guest. We were not able to go to the water park due to feeling unsafe. We felt that we were poorly treated when we expressed our concern to front desk staff. We've stayed here for 10 yrs and will never return.
