Jacuzzi room was exceptional but no coffee in the lobby or food to purchase. Would have been nice but instead we had to hit mcdonalds early. Manager during the day was great.
Absolutely excellent service at a fantastic price! Remarkably friendly staff, always greets by your name, comfortable rooms. Staff goes above and beyond to make sure the stay meets your every needs. For a small town hotel, you couldn't ask for much more. I've personally recommended this place to all my colleagues that travel the area.
Rooms are disgusting and owner does not seem to care. Stains on the bedspread and shower curtain was moldy. This was in 2 separate rooms! Owner did not apologize and told me I could leave if I didn't like it! The filthiness of the room would be unacceptable even IF we weren't in the middle of a global pandemic. I will be driving the 17 min each way to stay in Stoughton when working in Evansville going forward. People like this do not deserve the business, so I'll take it elsewhere and suggest you do the same!!!
I can't believe how unprofessional this place is. There is no one around ever. When we checked in the front desk staff came out of a room like he was just chilling in there. He was wearing a tshirt and sweatpants. This is the 2nd time we stayed and were given the wrong room type both times. It says there is a breakfast starting at 7 on weekends. There was nothing set up at all. We will not be staying here anymore.
We needed a room for one night during a winter storm. Bed was uncomfortable, audio on the television was off and made voices on shows too high, shower curtain was stained, odd odor, and because there weren’t enough people staying there that night, we received no breakfast. We were told we received a discount for that ($79 instead of $89) and yet we got charged a $90 total, when the regular price to book online is $80 including breakfast.nnWe only stayed due to having to - and will not return to this location. Do not recommend.
