This motel has been here a long time but is the best bargain I could find in Deming or, better yet anywhere. It was a route 66 type motel at one time and has been completely refurbished, repainted and the price can't be beat. Before I could really say anything, upon office entry I was offered a cold bottled water. The 43 inch tv had just about every channel you'd ever want (legally). I come to Deming twice a year and used to go to what used to be the Grand Hotel and is now the OYO, Things changed drastically over there and Western Motel is now my new home away from home when in Deming. I doubt you'll be disappointed, ..especially with the price.
Needs to work on cleanliness. The bathroom had no curtain on the window, the paint was peeling and the toilet was leaking. Room also smelled bad.
A 2 star only because the lady working there was nice and at least I didn't die.
The place was absolutely filthy. The floor hadn't even been vacuumed. The room was very dim, and I soon realized that it was because the cover for the light was full of dead bugs. Absolutely aweful!
It's AWESOME...
Very comfortable not the most glamorous place put peaceful and clean and comfortable for the price
